Challenge: Create an engaging way to show Virgin Media customers their data usage over the last 3 months, and how they can get even more out of their package.

Insight: With the colder weather, people have been stuck indoors more. But Virgin Media have given them some joyful moments with their TV/Broadband.

Solution: Create a personalised video to take customers on a journey through their data and reward them for different milestones they’ve achieved, using the nostalgia of an 8-bit game to do so.

Email

We had to launch the idea in an email, sent out to a selection of VM customers.

Landing Page

Clicking “Play” sent them to the Best Bits landing page, where they could play their video.

At the end of the video, customers were encouraged to click the button below to see how they could “get more out of Virgin Media”- directing them to the VM Hub page.
